Scholarships

The Ahwatukee Foothills Chamber Commerce, which was founded in 1994 by a dedicated group of dynamic Ahwatukee business people, has been successful in creating a vibrant business community.  In 2011, the Chamber established the Ahwatukee Chamber Community Foundation (ACCF), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, as an additional component focusing on civic, social and educational programs and projects for the community.  The foundation has awarded over $79,000 in scholarships and that tradition is continuing this year with the awarding of the "Tim Hovik Scholarship."

The ACCF seeks to provide the community with activities and events encompassing a wide area of interest with the goal to make the lives of the residents of Ahwatukee well rounded.  These broad based activities are intended to assist in the areas of community interest and may include training and educating the public on matters of finance and business, science and technology, as well as area economic planning and development.

The organization’s slogan of “Building Community, Building Ahwatukee” reflects the Foundation’s vision to develop, fund, and provide resources to the people of Ahwatukee by way of their events and activities, scholarships, and a future Entrepreneurial Institute.   The ACCF will serve as a resource to inspire the next generation of local entrepreneurs to become leaders in the Ahwatukee community.

Mission:   To strengthen our community by investing in educational excellence and collaborative partnerships.

Vision:   To become the primary community organization to assist with Scholarship and Funding needs of worthwhile programs that support the Ahwatukee community.
